I am a firm believer in persistence and determination. Two things decide whether you can achieve what you want. These are skills to master, and they can be developed over time.
The other day I was reading the book Atomic Habits. It highlights the importance of trying something daily. The compounding of your habits gives you a good result. But the key is not to aim for the goal. Instead, change your system. changing the process itself can yield you big results.
For example, if you want to be a writer, blogging daily makes you eventually better in the same. If you want to make a YouTube video, work daily on your ideas. This can give you clarity on what you want to do next.Writing helps you organize your thoughts and put them on paper.
You can achieve the same with blogging. Blogging daily keeps you motivated to read books. You gain new information and blog more articles. It can be applied to other aspects of life as well. Watching podcasts or new content can help you as a creator in generating new ideas. Ultimately, it boils down to having patience to work on a skill. To master a skill, it takes a long time. You will face multiple failures. A skill does not grow linearly. Instead, it grows exponentially.
